Pico PSUs & Node 304 Q

Thread Starter
Hey guys

So I have a SFX PSU but was wanting something.. smaller

I was wondering if it is possible to daisy chain.. say.. 4x120W PICO PSU to have it @ 480W (120x4) and then put that in like a small small enclosure inside the case

Also

I have an Antec Kulher 620, I was wondering if its better to just put a fan filter on the back 120/140MM and make it intake push/pull and then switch the 2 92MM exhaust

Thanks

4 power bricks, 4 points of failure, costs $500. No.

Not even going to save any space, 4x pico = SFX in my opinion.

My pico is in my car, no 8x CPU power, no GPU power, one SATA and a Molex connector and that's it !

P.S. If you have access to four then by all means play, but it makes no sense to me.

P.P.S. Try it as an exhaust first and see how the temperatures go, then if you have any issues, try your suggestion, it might help to reduce noise levels as well.

You can't daisy chain them. The total power amount is mainly determined by the AC-DC power brick. Now you can use multiple power bricks but they get to be massive. So that's out on size.

If you really want something smaller than an SFX psu, get a 1U or 2U server psu. But be warned that they can be loud.
