Get the reinforced cutting wheels. Dremel ones cost about 17 NZD from mitre 10 (Thats where I got mine). You get about 5 in a pack and a couple when you buy the Dremel 3000 as well.

I would second that recommendation. In my build (log in signature) I went through 5 of these disks. Each wore down to a tiny circle and none breaking along the way. Since my previous experience was with the non-reinforced kind and them breaking if you even look at them funny, I was quite surprised.

Also, if you plan on doing detailed cuts beyond straight lines, from my experience I would also recommend a flex shaft attachment. Made doing cuts more comfortable plus I felt I had better control for the tight curves.

Ok, I havn't yet cut out any cable management holes but I want to ask for your guys opinions on painting.
I'm not powder-coating as it is a bit much money for me atm, but which would be better: Black spray paint, coated and primed properly, or using vinyl sticker wrap, which I have seen turn out quite well for many people. otherwise I could combine the two.

Also will measure and order my acrylic today, hopefully it comes quickly smile.gif

Could you give me a link to this place, that could be a good option if it's only around that price considering I could actually spend that much on paint cans smile.gif

Cazcoat. He only has a glossy black or epoxy matte black which looks a very dark grey under sun... Up to you

Not much to update on other than I received the acrylic window and mid plate but have been really sick all week so not up to any modding puke.gif.
Anyway, decided to play around on sketchup tonight to try lay out where I would like to put things (doubt I will get a 680 with water block, the mobo is an x58a-oc it just looks like the one I want, and the rads are the only models I could find tongue.gif)

Looking good so far! Just keep at it. The amount of filing I've done on my TJ07 windows and other panels to get them right is silly but it looks good if you are willing to put in the effort.

If you can get the parts you want powder coated for that price do it. The amount I've spent on paint is unreal... Pretty sure I am keeping Mitre10 on business frown.gif

Does anyone know if there is anywhere to rent/ hire a dremel, because although I would like to have one for other projects as well I haven't been able to work this week so I'm short on money again and still very far off my goal frown.gif.
