Oh i had no idea, when i saw your drive i just assumed it was a 3.5". But now that i think about it, I'm pretty sure it would be possible to fit it behind the 5.25" bay side pieces. I'll have to see today.

and about that store, it seems all the perfect stores are in the bloody north shore lol, bit of a hike for small things like screws unfortunately.

It does fit behind the 5 and a half inch drives which I explored but then you realise your cables for power and sata will show and also the silver of the HDD will show through the holes in the 5 and a half inch install slots and look bad haha

Forgot to post my progress for today so here it is.
Firstly I decided I would make my holes in my white acrylic midplate piece for the through ports. I used a hold drill which actually worked really well:

Unfortunately I have the curse of giving myself problems. I concentrated on lineing up the holes and where the tubes needed to go instead of where the holes would go through to. As a result I had to do this:

I forgot to take pictures of some of the other cuts I made but these aren't too interesting anyway.
Also I finally got a quote from the laser company today and they told me it would cost me $100 to make the radiator grill I proposed!!!
Seems ridiculous to me. So I have no idea what I'm going to do about that atm, not going to be paying $100 for a grill though. One thing to mention though, I said the material to be used is steel. Could this be the problem making it cost so much?

Main reason is because the shipping will cost more than the grill itself. There are heaps of grills just not in nz and i forgot to buy one when i did my frozencpu order.
I think importing might be your only real option, unless you can find somewhere willing to do it for much less

Does anyone know if PCcasegear would make an exception to their aus only shipping because NZ is about as far from them as parts of aus itself. Because they are the closest I've found to have grills and would most likely save me a bit rather than shipping one from the U.S, another main factor being time since I would like to finish this build before starting back at school. Otherwise does anyone know of any forwarding services in aus?

It may be awhile before I am able to get hold of a rad grill and will probably forward one via family in aus, so I though I would give a temporary grill a go. I made a bit of a mess of the old mesh but It works. This is mainly so I can put everything back together and start making my tubing routes:

Put the main bits back together today and tried a little more bending and tube routing. I can do the big pieces fine and get them looking reasonably clean, but my main issue is tight bends and using small pieces. I am going to have to buy another 90 or two as I ran into a few issues today which are impossible to bend without warping the tube. here are some pics of my progress:

This proved to hard for me so will have to buy a 90 for it.

Graphics card test tube, turned out alright:

Been taking this build real slow since I have mainly been waiting on small items to arrive and also got lots of school getting in the way, but here is another update since something turned up today smile.gif.
LED's installed for midplate, excuse my low light phone pics.

And my fan grill arrived from aus.

Hope to do some bending in the next few days, but I'm still waiting on 3 typhoons from scott and two EK 90 fittings from PB who have so far had the worst customer service I have experience in a while, very unhappy frown.gif.
