well done! shame about the top part of your lightbox.

Does it look red IRL or is it just the camera?

Well for now I'm going to leave it as I would have to drain it and take it all apart again, and considering the angle and height at which it sits on my desk it isn't visible so I will have to deal with it until I ever have to change something again.

The orange colour doesn't really show up correct in any of the pictures that is why I need a better camera to take some final pics. The most recent pics are actually taken on my nokia lumia, so only very average quality especially in low light.

Yeah man I know that feel. Those bay panels are horrible to get back on without doing damage to a midplate. Thats why with my next mod Im gonna create a full tray motherboard backplate and remove the panels other than the top two. Honestly who uses all 7 5 1/4" bays!

But it looks really really good! You have convinced me to go acrylic next time around... when I have the money that is. Good job and congrats!

Yeah I highly recommend acrylic, but even though I like the look of these fittings I would probably go with something like the bitspower ones next time (unfortunately they came out after I bought these ones). If I do another mod there is a bunch of things I've learnt from this one about do's and do nots, for example I was just able to finish my acrylic runs as I only bought one pack of primochill 4x 60cm tubes and had a practice E22 tube which caused me to not be able to perfect the runs. Another thing being planning, I sort of did this mod as a bit by bit project and ended up with lots of delays making this build log something like 7 months from the beginning. Well it is finished now and I can enjoy my effort for a good few months until I decide it's time for a change.

I perhaps would have left that bay plate off after realising I'd made a mistake tongue.gif I only have one blu ray drive, and a HDD and SSD, so might have tried to mount them 'floating style' to the read plate and route the cables in a nice way biggrin.gif

Great build man, I'm jealous!
