It is a 350D, so a nice case but only MATX. Defiantly won't be needing it though. They said it would take them a week to build/ test and I'm tempted to ask for store credit equivalent but I don't think they would allow tongue.gif.

haha yeah, asked anyway as innocently as I could but no dice. Now I'm going to have two 4670k's on my hands along with an SSD and some blackline ram which I'll keep, Then I'll sell off the rest. Got a nice little ASUS 760 also tongue.gif

Quick question, should I got for a 360 or 240 rad up top? not sure I prefer the hassle of modding in a 360 rather than a 240 but open to being persuaded.

If your confident and take your time with the modication, then i'd say go 360 otherwise 240. but its a uni-body shell so.... you really only have one chance. I mean a 120.4 + 120.2 rad would be plenty.

480 + 240 is working great for me.
Imo there wouldn't be much, if any, difference in temps. with a 360 vs the 240, with your 480 rad in there as well.

If you really care about aesthetics and you want to take the dive modding I would go with the 360. It aligns in length so that the front end of the radiator aligns with the rear dvd drive panel and makes it look that little bit extra clean, its the small things that count tongue.gif but temps wise, not much is going to change

I'm pretty confident with my dremel, would have to get some more reinforced wheels. The aesthetics is really important that's why I had to ask the question, couldn't find many pics of builds with a 240 up top. It also means one extra typhoon tongue.gif.

@desktopdoctornz, what was the thickness of your black ice 360 you put up top because my rad choice was going to be a Alphacool ST30 which is 3cm, I would imagine this would leave plenty of room for 2.5cm fans.

All im saying is you might need something bigger than a dremel, i used a jigsaw cuz the metal is so bloody thick... done in about 5 minutes. I used the GTS 360 but bloody hell there was no room at all. I had to force everything in there for it to fit. I would recommend going for fans smaller than 25mm but test it out and see if it fits with your system, also think about your cpu power cable and how that will route. That was one problem i had with mine...

The cutting was one reason I am skeptical about it, also I don't have a jigsaw but could probably find one if in need. I reckon my cpu power cables could be pushed down a bit, they are already routed through a hole I cut up there, but looking at yours they look as if they are about to get sucked into the fans lol, very tight squeeze. Typhoons only come in 25mm unfortunately, along with most other good fans. I'll have to decide soon on this rad issue as techworld is getting an alphacool order this week and if I want a 240 I have to be quick.

Also, something I found trying to avoid as much shipping from the U.S as possible is these:
http://techworld.co.nz/koolance-pump-13mm-12in-p-45470.html?osCsid=6f41575ceacd04591fd2908f44d2b68c
http://techworld.co.nz/alphacool-vpp655-single-edition-p-46102.html?osCsid=6f41575ceacd04591fd2908f44d2b68c
two possible pumps that cost less by my calculations than shipping an MCP655. Only thing was I wanted to go for the threaded MCP on performancepcs to avoid the 1/2 barb issue, it's either that or I could buy the alphacool pump from techworld and use a top instead.
