Dumb question

Thread Starter
Hi all,

Just built a new system

4770k
16gig DDR-1600
Asus Maximus VI hero
Cooler Master HAF 932
Corsair HX850w
H100i liquid cooling

So my old system was an AMD Phenom, when overclocking there pretty much was Multi, Voltage, have a nice day.

I found the Vcore in the BIOS but cannot find out how to overclock. Ya I know it's probably something way easy but my puny brain can't figure out.

Any help would be greatly appreciate, also about what voltage would i be looking for around a 4.3-4.4 ghz

Sorry if it sounds dumb but I figure it never hurts to ask.
The Phenom!

Hello. I don't have a haswell processor to play around with. The haswell overclocking thread should give you a good idea of what parameters to go with.

Hello! This is one of the best Haswell overclocking guides I have seen: http://www.overclockers.com/3step-guide-to-overclock-intel-haswell
Check it out! It will give you everything you need to overclock!

Just an FYI, you will lose the warranty on your CPU if you overclock. You can purchase a protection plan from Intel for $25 which will cover any damage caused by overclocking.
