New 326.80 Driver problem on Windows 8?

So I have tried to update my drivers to 326.80 and when trying to install all the installation fail, leaving me with no Drivers. I have to go back to 320.49. I have a GTX 550Ti and I'm on Windows 8

Yeah I also have this problem on Win8 with this driver branch and my 780.

Boot into safe mode, and uninstall driver from device manager.

Reboot back to safe mode.

Then run Driver fusion to remove nvidia entries.

Reboot back to safe mode.

Install driver from device manager (point to folder Display.Driver from extracted .exe)

Reboot normally and install physx and any other stuff from the installer.

Worked for me.
