VG278HE Wont go to 144hz

Thread Starter
I just got my vg278he in the mail 2 hours ago and I can't for the life of me get it to 144hz, I've tried everything, I'm running a ASUS Matrix 7970 on Catalyst 13.4, I've tried all I know but this is really upsetting me redface.gif

Also don't worry I've tried 3 different duel link DVi's

Are you sure you have DVD-D dual link cables? Are all the pins present or are some missing?

Lower your resolution, set it to 144, then change your resolution back.

Are you using the DVI cable that came with it? If you use VGA or HDMI the 144hz wont work only DVI works with 144hz.

make sure you're using the correct DVI ouput
you have 1 single link and 1 dual link, you should use the dual link DVI (the left most as far as I know) and of
course a proper DVI Dual Link cable

hope it works

Cheers

Yes, try the other port on your graphics card.
Many people often connect the DVI cable to the wrong port on the graphics card.
