credible benchmark gpu

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I want to know if there is a credible site with gpu benchmark number. I'm aware that we have a ranking gpu but I preferred see them in term of number rather than places. I came across this site
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html
but it doesn't make sense when 7990 ($999.99) is almost the same as 7970 ($439.99), absurd.

Thanks,
X

Is there a benchmark site that you go by?

we have one local . . .

http://www.overclock.net/f/21/benchmarking-software-and-discussion

anyway, imo, gpu purchase should be based on budget and games played. visit the drivers' thread on both amd and nvidia to get a glimpse how they work.

I play mostly bf3 and I base my gpu on that.
