I'm excited to see how Ipad support pans out after release. I just got a Ipad air (which I love btw. take THAT go4life;)), and personally I'd like to have a mobile pda/mfd which I can read mails from, check inventory status from etc. I dont know if dual monitors can quite fill this function though, as that requires you to use the screen from your gaming station. If you think of it, imagine going to your couch or bed during a long haul on autopilot, while checking mails and galactic news. Suddenly you get a bleep alerting you about some unknown presence, and you have to scamble to your commanders chair. THATS the way I imagine being in a space ship is more or less like. This does NOT however replace hotas controls (like nostromo to some extent represents) where you have tactile control of all necessary settings from your basic hand positions. I probably have everything from power distribution to weapon controls one finger movement away with my CH hotas. Just think Oculus Rift, and you see what I mean

I think you're making the right choice mate, based upon what I've read when researching sticks in the past. Seems like good, tested and reliable sticks (which also looks good btw).

I dont necessarily agree with that revro, although I see your point. With new gear, there is bound to be some problems, and its always better to buy second or third revisions, as all kinds of unexpected bs can happen due to insufficient real world testing, and that is difficult to see how things will pan out after 6 months or more usage.
Oh, and a comment to all of you guys. I read some time ago that you discussed giving UEC to each other in-game, but I dont think I agreed that this necessarily will be a good solution (even if its unrealistic NOT to be able to do so). The whole economic system will basically break down due to people hoarding cash through others if this is allowed, and I'm unsure if this is a good thing. Even so we already have people buying $1000 ships, so I guess its already somewhat "pay to win", like I stated in a forum thread earlier today. Not really sure about this one.
