right, yeah I knew we had different pricing and LTI, but I thought the packages themselves would still be the same. well if you guys want help with an LTI package let me know. I think I can just gift you an LTI package if you were to send me money first, via Paypal or something. depends on how much you want to trust me, I can only say that you can 100% but that's entirely up to you.

pretty sure that kind of practise is allowed yeah? don't see anything wrong with it myself. you won't qualify for early backer rewards or anything though, it doesn't affect your backer status.

so i run my gtx780oc with my bottlenecked q9550@3.4ghz @1440p res thanks to post on last page. my bottleneck is now balanced. cpu is 100% on all 4 cores while gpu fluctuates 80-99% on average 85+% but attacking 99% a lot when its demanded outside of ship. around 80% when i was spending time inside ships so there might not be that much gpu usage needed .

so i guess no big bottleneck here when playing 1440 instead of 1080 where i have 60-65%gpu usage. temps are ok but my case has 9 high performance fans 4 intake 5 outtake. max temp was 64C and i managed to get somehow in Metro LL 72 while ingame i was getting reported 65C smile.gif

anyway i am very happy with my current build, might even be able to experience zero lagfest when flying in dogfighting along a bengal smile.gif

fps at 1440p with higher gpu usage are same as at 1080 with lower gpu usage, so 30-40 in hangar when looking into depth of hangar and 40-50+fps when looking into corners or inside the ship. a single 780 @1084MHz stock boost smile.gif i am quite happy, but yeah a haswel E is in my future smile.gif

best

Let me guess Thrustmaster Warthog? And while we are on the subject, can anyone give me the scoop on the Saitek x52/x52 pro, as awesome as the Thrustmasters seem to be I cannot justify spending the money on it at my current pay grade lol.

Sleeping dogs is the hardest game ive run. My OC is stable on all games, heaven/valley benchmark, this hangar etc. But in sleeping dogs is the only game i artifact with my OC smile.gif

I'd say that it runs quite hot, partly doe to the cpu being loaded quite high as well, but in particular Farcry 3 runs noticably hotter. With very high outside temperatures earlier this summer, Farcry 3 made my topmost gpu reach around 90c. Wish I'd have some more space between the 770's as the top one tends to suck in hot air from the bottom one. Havent experienced any crashing or weirdness like artifacting yet though, so I guess the cards are pretty sturdy at least. Helped somewhat to add a 140 mm side fan.

Oh, and congrats go4life. Official thread and all smile.gif

Should use an aggressive fan profile in MSI AB. I use a really aggressive fan profile in MSI AB that starts at 30% fan speed at 25C and ramps up to 100% by 70C.

With this my gpu get around 65-68C in SC and other hard games at 1.3v and 1250mhz. 10c lower at stock settings smile.gif

I have a pretty aggressive one my self, only I have it at 100% at 80c instead so I don't go mad by the noise hehe (I have a chronic headache).
