This game looks phenomenal though. I'm planning on an extensive list of changes for this. These being:
- 6 or 8 core haswell E (Probably 6 core if they're ~$600-700)
- Another 780Ti
- Change to an ASUS/DELL 2560*1440 monitor (Running this game at 1080p just doesn't work for me, sure I have surround but I prefer the quality image of 1440p. and I won't fill my VRAM at that res
- Another 128GB SSD purely for star citizen (Already got one ordered for xmas)
Can't wait! Dog fighting module in my 325A will be nerdgasmically brilliant.
Yeah I'm running 2way SLI and the FPS on very high is quite good, actually.
I got rid of Surround a few days ago and instead purchased a 1440p monitor (QNIX). Unfortunately this game doesn't support 1440p yet (only 1600p). Surround has been lackluster for me and I just couldn't get used to three monitors. Bezels were a bit annoying and I couldn't get the FPS I desired.
But this game releases in 2015, so I assume Haswell E and/or Broadwell will already be out by then, including DDR4 ram and the next generation graphics cards (actual new architectures instead of Kepler/Hawai upgrades).
On a side note, I think I should upgrade my 300i to the 325A for better dogfighting...
