So shouldn't my 325A have a Forcewall shield and not the Allstop FR? Also shouldn't 325A also have a different powerplant? It was cool flying my 325A and all but in all honesty it wasn't all that different to the loaner 300I I was using. I see we got a nice payment in UEC! I can has 16000UEC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thumb.gif Must resist the urge to buy a badger to replace the slow firing mass driver on my 325A. CR says we should save our UEC. Something special coming supposedly! wheee.gif

Dang it game play in the hanger anyway is really laggy on my system nearly uncontrollable laggy but u must say I like the wood inlays and the lifts in the space station are nice. Haven't actually figured out how to do anything yet like I said it's actually to difficult to navigate my character with running into walls or get dizzy with motion blur and input lag :-(
Probably my fault for running such high resolution but my native is 7680x1440.

You have the same problem I do - the FOV is locked at a low 55 degrees or so. Try it on one monitor.

January for the FPS module I think they said?

I can already envision the first FPS version:

- 40 degrees FoV.
- Impossible to fix hardcore smoothing and acceleration.
- Unstable DPI thrown in the mix.
- Headache and nausea causing camera bobbing and view turning.
- Wonky movement.
- Weapon postures covering half the screen and jumping around when moving as if like the user is experiencing a seizure.

Genuinely the worst you can do to a 1st person game, thrown together just to annoy the gamer for no reason, because that's the industry standard.

I kinda hope it turns out to be that, just to see the forums explode.

I want to see them announce they are outsourcing the FPS module to the people who made COD just to add fuel to the forum explosion

Planetside 2 was actually not a bad shooter. Guns were cool, upgrades felt like they were worth the money, factions were unique and identifiable. And then they brought out the camos and ruined that last point.

Must say that I am kinda worried about this to, as they clearly have showed a lot of love for blurring everything, and the extreme view bob/delay is not really helping either..
What I hate is when you move side to side, the screen kinda "bumps" back a little every time. Fine for the hangar, but in any real combat that would instantly kill me as it causes me to mis-calculate the aim.

Mouse acc./smoothing is just stupid, and I never understood why they made it in the first place for anything. First thing I turn off in both Windows and games.

While PS2 and CoD are good in their respective genres, but please for the love of God never bring it in to SC... Seriously I might even give up on SC then lol.
