Need Help Finding a 40 Inch TV

Thread Starter
I need help finding a good 40 inch TV for my friend (can be a few inches over if necessary). It needs to be good for gaming, 1080p, low input lag, and preferably 120hz. Do smart tv's cause any kind of lag (while gaming)? If so, he can do without the smart TV. His max budget is $600 or so.

Thanks everyone.

If you can find a sharp they have some good gaming features on someof them. Samsung is also good. I don't hear great things about any gaming modes they have though where as on one sharp monitor I looked at it had 3ms latency for 60".

Also I'd steer clear of smart tv if you have a pc my monitor does it and its just useless.

samsung 7100s had an amazing picture though. Really I just suggest going to sears or fry's electronics and look at what pictures you like and narrow it down from there
