Dead GPU, how to reset clock settings HELP

Hi guys..
My 7950 HD died by using furmark, and i'm about to RMA it. But i'm curious, can they actually see if i overclocked? Theres no damage on the card physically, looking brand new. But im afraid of if they fix the card and turn it up, that my OC settings are still on? Is there a way to reset the settings on that card, or is it already reset? i managed to uninstall the AMD driver and reinstall windows 7 and install the AMD driver again. Are the clocks gone or still the same by doing this?

You should be able to reflash the bios, but before you try that have you tried the other bios on the card?

And how can a bios upgrade help reset the gpu settings? Arent the settings reset after a complete win7 re-installment and a reinstallment of AMD driver?

Settings are stored in the GPU's BIOS, not in the Windows environment.

I am so tired of seeing posts like this. YOU fried the card, YOU need to take the loss.

Doing crap like this raises the cost of product, and can make the RMA process harder for people who actually need it.
