Is my Gigabyte GTX 460 gone forever?

Thread Starter
So this is what I saw when I started my computer today:

1262957_10200576332155642_909215331_o.jpg

The result is the same in Windows. Cleaned graphics card, nada. First I thought it might be power supply but nopes. Now I am running on HD4850 which I kept as a backup in case if anything goes wrong

The card went ran out of warranty just 3 weeks before after serving me for 3 years. Is this card RIP?

Seen his before. Might be your monitor cable that is defective. Well not defective but the signal might be blurred and interferences are causing the issue. Could you try a different cable?

yes, the monitor cable is fine. In fact, I am using it right now with HD4850 hooked in the system.

Unfortunately it's dead if power supply and monitor is ok than it's video card to be sure check it on other system if it's possible.

It doesn't look good. If all else fails, bake your card.
