Sorry to hear about all the pain OP. But the build looks amazing!! biggrin.gifthumb.gif

The board should have more than one sticker/it should say do not remove/voided warranty. They have those stickers on ALOT cheaper components. And as other sane/reasonable people have said it should be laser etched on or something of that nature.

As for all who acted like he was committing fraud or sided completely with newegg and the like you should get off your high horse and stop being so rude. acting like him removing a sticker that doesn't clearly state not to like all other stickers I have ever come across is the worst thing ever and he is an idiot. All I have to say is I hope the ones that were so thoughtless and couldn't empathize with the op, well I hope newegg ships something without the sticker even in the box to you. Then maybe you would realize how stupid it is to only have on POS sticker when you crying but but it wasn't there all the while the same asshats that ranted in here will call you a liar and an idiot.

Sorry for rant but those comments are pathetic. Anyways OP maybe make a new thread about your build?! Looks way too badass not to.

Best story I've heard in a long while regarding this jeweller. If I was in the US and Chicago I'd definitely buy this man a drink. cheers.gif

@OP: Glad you got all that worked out, that ended just about as well as you could have hoped it would!

You don't have that many posts here, so just wanted to drop by and say welcome to the community. Don't let those here trying to insinuate that you were trying to "game" the system scare you away, some people just choose to see the worst in folks. Either way, I can think of a couple of reasons to remove stickers from electronics and *none* of them have to do with fraud. Is it a good idea? Usually not. Is the *only* reason to remove them fraud? No.

Looking forward to seeing some of your benches and once again, welcome!thumb.gif

On the subject of "stickers" some of them are applied in places that generate a lot of heat and the stickers almost refuse to stay on any way. I can think of at least two Major video card vendors that apply the paper serial number stickers in a spot where they are almost guaranteed to start lifting off and peeling away within the first couple days use of your card(s).
