My Galaxy Nexus from 2011 runs official stock 4.3 firmware, never got any malware and I have adaway, so I never see a single ad. So?

wow the fighting over some damn phone

5inch fits my needs fine, not interested getting a tablet so a 5inch phone will be kinda all in one device for reading, messaging and communicate with other human being
