Hey guys,

I heard any core unlocking function being on in the BIOS can screw up CoreTemp and other monitoring programs so I want to disable it. I came across an old thread ( http://www.overclock.net/t/1118743/solved-core-temp-is-broken ) on here that mentioned this issue with ASUS's "Core Unlocker." Can anyone tell me if this is the same thing as MSI's "CPU Core Control"? I have an MSI 990FXA-GD80 V2 that CPU-Z says is using AMI v13.0 BIOS. I use the UEFI bios Click Bios II. Thanks smile.gif
