Overclocking my GPU

Hello everyone. I am new to this site (joining) but i have been using this site for small understanding about overclocking.

I am wondering what all information would i need to overclock my CPU (i5 3570k) in bios safely. i know overclocking is not an exact science but i would like to find out a ballpark how how to overclock in bios and what level is (safe). I know chips degrade over time while overclocking. I just dont want a catastrophic failure. so what all info should i post here for someone to help give me a ball park recommendation.

There are plenty of guides around for overclocking. Here is one specifically for your CPU (Link)

Huh, I don't know why the link isn't working. If you google "i5 3570k overclocking" you'll see multiple guides on how to overclock it though.
