and how do would you get 48 native lanes out of a CPU that provides a total of 40?
I mean natively ... with no switching bridge-chip like PLX on high end premium mainstream boards (e.g. ROG Maximus Extreme series).
I mean the chipset itself provides a few more lanes (is it 8x?), but that is not for GPU use, only peripherals like sound, TV cards or controller cards, etc.Edited by feniks - 8/28/13 at 10:16am
