Audio Problems Help!

Thread Starter
Ok so I have a 2010 17" Macbook Pro and my main Rig. I do a lot of audio mixing and editing so I have professional monitor speakers using an audio interface. What I'm trying to do is connect my Macbook to my Rig so that I don't have to keep switching the USB cables in my audio Interface. This is the solution I've come up with. I have a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack going from my Macbook into my rig. So it's in the headphone (output) slot of my Macbook and my Mic (input) slot of my rig. That way my rig receives the audio and the audio goes out via USB to my interface. I've had this working before but I reinstalled windows and it's not working anymore. It only works with my headphones connected to a 3.5mm output of my computer. I can't seem to figure out a way for my computer to send the signal to my audio interface (USB 2.0). Any ideas how I'd redirect the signal from my headphones to my speakers?

Try the listen feature for the mic in on the main rig. That should fix it.

How to do this.
1. Right click the little speaker in your bottom right hand corner.
2. Click on recording devices.
3. Double click your line in or microphone (Wherever you connected it.)
4. Go to the listen tab and enable it.
5. ????
6. Hopefully profit
