17-27-17 PLP Setup Custom Resolution

So I've seen someone successfully do this using an X-Star 27 with Dell 17' 1708FPTs flanking.

This is the link: http://imgur.com/a/g1aDJ

Now I have a QNIX with the same Dells, but I've been unable to get the side monitors to output 1152x1440. I keep getting the unsupported resolution message. I used CRU to set the resolutions and have tried it with LCD Reduced settings with no luck.

Anyone have any ideas on how this person achieved this?

Im sorry this is no help to you, but you really helped me out in a weird way. I have a 1440p Qnix and the same Dell monitor that you have. Ive been using the Dell in the regular position for the last couple days and I saw your Imgue link and went doh.gif I can turn it 90 degrees. So much better turned 90 degrees! thumb.gif

Are you using an AMD GPU? In the AMD catalyst control center you can set custom resolutions.

I have a 7970 and I'm not too sure where the custom resolutions are. I set it with CRU and can get 1152x1440 to show up as an option except the monitor says that it doesn't support it and shows a black screen with that message
