Yes, the STX has a built-in headphone amp and it would probably be a good pair with your headphones sound-wise. As for the gaming capabilities, I only know that it supports Dolby Headphone, which is a virtual surround sound protocol. I couldn't tell you how well it works with those headphones, though.

I cancelled the DT800's and thinking of getting the AD900x.
