Well after playing with mine for the weekend, I am extremely happy with my purchase.
I was slightly disappointed with the screen when I first got it. I've since gotten used to it and after reading the anandtech review
again, it describes why I was underwhelmed at first. It is not as bright as my HTC One X, but it has darker blacks. At first this screen looked more like an AMOLED display to me than the LCD2 on the One X. I'm not a huge fan of the AMOLED displays. After using the phone over the weekend, I've realized it really doesn't look a lot like an AMOLED. The colors are not over the top bright and bleed into other parts of the display. I am happy with the screen now, yet probably still prefer the One X.
I'm really enjoying the stock android experience. However, I miss my Sense clock widget. I downloaded a couple, got one that works pretty well. However, I still cannot get to my alarm clock from the widget. Small inconvenience but something I was disappointed about.
Last thing I don't like about it. The clocks bold the hour. Why? It's freaking ugly. I've minimized this annoyance by using the sense clock widget on my main screen. I only see the bolded hour from my lock screen.
Anyways, other than those things, great phone. Feels good, looks good, performs amazing, very very smooth experience. So thanks again for this thread. I bought this the day they dropped in price because I shattered the screen on my One X. Great replacement, overall a slight upgrade for a great price since I was in the middle of a contract (pending more camera use and subjection).
