but seriously, they make rigs look tacky with stickers all over them. one or two badges are ok, but no more than that. they start to dominate the look of the case.

I'm in agreement; I come from a world of laptops where you always saw a CPU and possibly a GPU or Sound card badge on the chassis. This is as far as I'd go with case badges.
