yeah, definitely not recommended. I don't know of anybody running modern performance hungry games through a VM. why would you want to do that anyways? it's much better for game performance to run them natively in OS where they get all they need.

you can try some simple games that run on a single core anyways and do not need 3D graphics rendering, but other than that, the more demanding (video) games either won't even run in VM or would run and lag terribly making it unplayable anyways.
