A mixer has multiple inputs and outputs and can also act as a DAC.

Speaking from experience, condenser mics don't work well for gaming voice chat. Your fans, keyboard clicks, mouse clicks will all be very audible.

I definitely Agree, but it would be nice to have a studio room someday. I am upgrading to IB-E and I'll have an extra computer as soon as the Nvidia GPUs drop (just being patient, I have no clue when this is)..

I have $50 for a mixer (used) or a pre-amp (used). Not sure how far I can go with that

But if none of this happens:

I wonder if I'll be able to sell the microphone then, and put the money towards a mod mic 2.0.
