Started playing Final Fantasy 14 A realm reborn Full screen windowed mode and so far it stutters when i click out on my second monitor an when i click back in, it stutters for a few seconds then returns back to normal. Don't know whats wrong, but at least its not too bad with Final Fantasy. Also i never heard of updating my GPU's bios. How do i do that?
First check the website of your graphics card manufacturer to see if there's a new BIOS for your graphics card.
There are command line flash programs for ATI and NVIDIA, so that might be hard to use if you never used the command line. I think I just used some normal Windows program that came from the manufacturer. See if your manufacturer says something about what to do with the BIOS you download on their website or the zip you'll get the BIOS in.
That's how to use the command line stuff: http://www.overclock.net/t/1353325/tutorial-atiwinflash-how-to-flash-the-bios-of-your-ati-cards
