Ok, I've hit the panic button. This chilled water build is dead, decided to just get rads and stuff.

I was over thinking it....I wasn't even going for sub zero, just wanted to keep the room cool. Finally decided to cut the BS out and just get a couple rads and vent them out of the room.

Considering what your goals are...that's the right decision...good luck with the new build thumb.gif

still going to be a $900 water cooling system....

now take that $900 add the cost of my 2x GTX 660 TI cards...and I could have been rocking a pair of Titans in SLI on air for the money I'm spending...but at least the water system I'm doing will adapt to any future builds I do.

Jace, While I am new to this thread and OC.net for that matter I did want to give you a pat on the back for trying. If it any consolation there are many that have tried what you have aspired to do and ended up at the same issues. You put in a valiant effort and applaud your resolve and ambition. I like you once had dreams of consistent and reliable sub ambient cooling but was unable to find a solution. To paraphrase a famous quote from Abraham Lincoln:

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Members of Overclock.net this project inspired. I pray that our heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement and bank account, and leave you only the cherished memory of the fabrication lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid down a pursued dream so many of us once had upon the altar of PC customization. Yours very sincerely and respectfully

After showing this thread to a friend of mine he suggested I point out that I am not trying to be a smart ass. Rather, a bit poetic in expressing to the OP that I understand what it is like to try something and have it not work out. I am sure that if nothing else, this project has inspired others to try and reach just a bit further toward a goal they have. I hope no one took it the wrong way.thumb.gif
