Need buying advice for a 50" TV

Thread Starter
I am pretty clueless when it comes to TVs and I need to buy a new one for our living room. I will probably do a fair bit of console gaming on it, but I'll also watch movies/TV. I'd like to stay under $1000 find something around 50". The best TV I've found so far is the Panasonic S60. Thanks for the advice!

I'm loving the LG 3D TVs ATM - think they make a 47" or 55". I regret not getting the 55"... mad.gif

If you can get to a Costco, they have the S64 for $600. Pretty much a S60 with an AR filter like the ST60 to cut down on reflections. Plus, Costco doubles the manufacturer warranty.
