Water cooling Q. T line with Radiator to reservoir

Hey.
I have a question, is there any way this diagram would work?
(Having a fill port , t line connected to it and a radiator connected to t part and the length of the T going into the inlet to use it as both a fill port and radiator. Also do I need something to put in the reservoir so im not dripping my water/coolant into the reservoir...)

Yes you can do what you have drawn. Please re-read the rest of your post. It does not make sense. Using it as a fill port and a radiator? Put something in your reservoir to keep it from dripping into the reservoir? That doesn't make any sense.

As for the T line though... You do not need a reservoir at all when you use a T line and a tube like you have drawn in that picture. The tube will accumulate bubbles in the line making it easy to bleed the system and it will act as a reservoir. It can be run with the cap off and everything while filling just like any reservoir.

One thing to be cautious of is that the water level will raise and lower when turning the system on and off. This is normal in a dedicated reservoir as well but since there is a higher capacity the mount it rises in CM is less. Just make sure you don't fill it all the way otherwise it could spill over. Leave some air in that line.

So having that t line won't add lots of restriction ?
And so I can just connect the end of the t line to the reservoir with compression fittings?

Well... about as much as a 90... but you can avoid that by having the T point up then it won't add any more restriction than a normal fitting and surely less than a reservoir.

Also WHAT reservoir?

Are you planning on having a reservoir or are you referring to the tube itself as a reservoir? Or are you using a danger den reservoir/fill port?

The tube is a reservoir but I just want to make certain we are talking about the same thing.

Typically it is best to run the tubing to the bottom of the reservoir where all the ports are and then just run a fill line to the top of the reservoir.

What pump, pump top if any, reservoir etc did you buy and what exact model is the bottom radiator.

Neither.
SO it will have a fillport at the top with a tube coming down from that fill port connected to a t line. One of them goes to the left connecting to the outlet of the radiator and the other to the Bitspower 250 MM radiator ice Red.

OH OK... you said reservoir then I looked at your picture again and the way you drew that tube that goes down from the T to the lower radiator... well it looks like it could be a reservoir smile.gif

But I get it now. The restriction is a non concern but if you are worried then like I said keep the T part itself used as the part that the fill line attaches to. Or you could buy a Y fitting and that is more like a 45 then a 90... but people use 90s all the time. They are the most restrictive of fittings but I have ran systems with 6+ 90s...

Nothing to really worry about.
