Monitor stuck in standby or test mode

I received my Qnix korean Qx2710 a couple of days ago, all was fine regards the common problems, no dead pixels and little blb. On the first day of use I went out of the room for approximately 15 minutes with my rig running as normal, came back to find what I can only describe as a looping screen test running on my screen, so flashing colours etc. I unplugged it and hard reset my rig and the problem was fixed. That night I switched off the monitor by the button. Worked perfectly yesterday but when I shut down my rig last night I left the screen as was, so logically in stand by, got up this morning and powered up my rig to find the same problem. Flashing colour screens like the ones used to check for dead pixels, have gone through the unplug process several times, tried on another rig in the house and left unplugged for hours, same result.

Any help appreciated as this is going to be a headache regards returning it to Korea.

Thanks in advance

Did you ever fix this?

Indicates it could be a loose or disconnected cable from logic board to panel. I know it's for a laptop but it's same thing. Look for disconnected cables or broke solder joints.

No fix as yet, still sat collecting dust awaiting some news from the seller. they requested a video which i have put on you tube. You are the second to mention this cable, I am just hesitant to open it and break something then be no return.
