Also there is a guide on OCN for bending copper and acryllic tubing, here is a link.

Cool thanks strong island.

Nice link, thanks. I think I might give it a try. I posted up on the 550d owners club as well. Now I just need a rotary drill to start tearing up the 5.25 bay underside.

Even if I do this, I still don't know if the rad will match up to where the fans are now.

Also, what is a decent radiator? I was thinking of going with this one: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12369/ex-rad-198/EK_CoolStream_240_XT_Series_Liquid_Cooling_Radiator_EK-CoolStream_RAD_XT_240.html?tl=g30c95s160 only because the xtreme version of it is 4mm longer. Will this one be sufficient for just the 2x 780s (highly oc'd)?

Can I ask why you don't get a larger case?

check out the new cooler master HAF stacker series scheduled to launch in a month or so, that thing should accommodate any average/higher up watercooling set up you could want, though i personally dont like the aesthetics of it, and its relatively cheap for what you would be getting.

Personally i would have to recommend a 900d or caselabs though if you want big daddy bling tongue.gifthumb.gif <-- personal bias may influence this post.

and if you absolutely want to stick with the 550d, get to choppin lol. Hope it turns out good for you no matter which course you take!

theres a fractal case for 50$ on sale amazon and newegg.

That stacker is ugly and a disgrace to the name stacker. I had a 830 stacker Nvidia edition and I tell you what I wouldn't trade to have that thing back!

I love my 550d and there is almost no chance that I will be switching cases. It's very clean and undercover looking - plus it's quiet. I don't want a huge, hulking case.

I've actually gotten a lot of good input from over at the 550d owner's club, and it looks like I will have to do some cutting, but it shouldn't be bad. Once I have the money to start this project I will post updates.
