Its not super bad but its not great either its just very average not special at all

You could find far worse on the other hand

Just be very sure its the broze rated version the non broze version is one of the worst PSU´s of all time

I know that i can't buy great PSU for 50$ that cooler master have 80 plus bronze so i have the same PSU i'm using it more than 2 years and still working . So as my friend don't need many watts he will be enough with 500W to, so i'm interesting can i buy better psu than that cooler master range of 500W with same price

The old Cooler Master GX is mde by SevenTeam and is something you sould stay away from its sucks

The new GX is made by Enhance Electronics and is alright its not great but i would not call it bad either

So if he only has 50$ i think thats the best he can do around that price point
