It has a lot of bells and whistles. Like they are throwing everything on the +6. Might as well call it the kitchen sink.

It looks pretty though, and what it can handle : 4 displays (3 is all I need) + 4k ... Impressive.

Extreme boards for APU's , quite a lot more highend boards coming out for the new Kaveri setups, I like this a lot, it is showing OEM confidence in the new AMD tech performance wise. From what I have seen in the past enthusiast boards for past APU's has been thin on the ground.

Looking forward to seeing how this performs smile.gif

All of these mid-ranged/high-end A88X boards for Kaveri APUs damn near seem to confirm that timeline showing there won't be any enthusiast class FX line, Steamroller non-APU chips. Seems like AMD is going all in with these.

Sata 6, you mean Sata 3 right ?1

The gray Sata ports on the lower right of the board are all Sata 3

Two x16 PCI-e slots, start and reset buttons, a LED number thing and a random molex (to power the PCI maybe?), this seems a little off. Maybe there is a little more to this new APU we don't know.

The boards look great, nice black PCB and the gold it subtle, unlike Asus did. Not bad.

usually asrock's Extreme4 and 6 are borderline mediocre, but this actually looks like a good board
