Although be sure what you want to get, nexus 4 has no microSD slot so make sure you're aware of the storage limitations.
On another note, I'll just wait until October 5th when the nexus 5 is rumored to come. With the rumored specs and if it launches at same price point as nexus 4, I'm sold.
Ah wow, I didn't know until now that the Nexus 5 was so close. I've never really had a good phone, let alone an android phone, yet. I preferred spending on more interesting Tech versus throwing $30-60 at a phone plan each month. But since the rig is almost finished, I don't mind spending a bit on a phone. I found it hard getting enthusiastic about smartphones before now, but they've gotten so powerful lately, like with the Nexus 4, that can see them as pretty useful. Why? Two words: mobile browsing. I guess you could call me a 'power browser'. I like lots of ram in my machine, I use Firefox Nightly so I have 64-bit and can have lots of tabs open and feed Firefox as much RAM as it wanes to eat, pretty much. I get bored and like to switch between things. In short, I like something pretty powerful that lets me browse how I want. My experience with the lousy little phone I have now has shown me I'd want something that doesn't infuriate me when trying to make use of mobile browsing, and the Nexus 4 seemed able to do that very well from that I read of it. A phone in no way can replace a desktop, but it can do some things adequately when you're away from your one true love.
