I am really new to the building of a computer game and right now I'm rocking a 550 ti a buddy gave to me but I'm looking to upgrade, i plan on playing at 1080p and right now only one monitor, eventually i might get another. the games i would be playing are BF3 BF4 FF XIV and Starcraft just as a few examples.

here are the two links i just need to know which is better since they are 20 bucks apart

the 760

The 7970 performs better and comes with 3 games.

These cards are not even in the same league. HD 7970 eats the GTX 760 for breakfast. With the 256-bit Bus Width and 2 GB on the 760, the 7970 is obviously the better choice especially at the same price, it is a no-brainer IMO.

HD 7970(1 ghz) = GTX 680 . HD 7970(1.05 Ghz) = GTX 770 HD 7970 OC(1.2 Ghz) = GTX 770(1.3 Ghz) . the GTX 760 has no chance. go with the HD 7970. faster , has 1 GB extra VRAM and comes wth 3 free games. wait till oct to redeem th games as BF4 could be one of the free games.
