I really liked Combat Arms... till I moved to Windows 7/8, and I never found out how to make it work.

I liked Combat Arms too.. until they started adding a bunch of junk that absolutely destroyed any balance in the game.

However since apparently Splash Damage is retaining creative control, hopefully they do have enough sense to not pay to win and/or completely unbalanced.

it'll be grind to win if it isn't pay to win...

the things we'll have to put up with just to play a FPS that doesn't suck and isn't Quake...

that's assuming it's good though. Splash Damage has done some decent work in the past, even if it wasn't necessarily hard. ET was a winning formula.
