Dell U3011 Flickering Lines on Screen - Page 2

I tried a DVI and HDMI with different computers and a Blu Ray player with the same result. Looks like I'm sending it back.

also try a different socket in the house. might be getting interference from something else plugged in. while at it try a different power cable.

cood be a dry solder joint on one of thew cable plugs that runs from the screens mother bord to the screen or a loose flex cable

i would give the monitor a few smacks to see what happens lol. i have a monitor which after a few months started with the green line. i gave it one good smack and the line has never reappeared. i got it off ebay as a "new" floor model. the godsmack (seewhatididthere) fixed it.
it's never reappeared even after moving it several times and changing orientation.

My house draws from 2 different transformers. I still had a problem even on the second power leg.

I had a U2410 that this worked with, but the problem keeps coming back on the U3011. frown.gif The seller did agree to ship me a replacement monitor though.
