Any other HTPC cases I am missing that support Full Size GPUs?

Building a HTPC (for XBMC) then after I save a little more putting in a GPU (for Steam Big Picture). I know of 2 cases that will support this.

The just released Cooler Master Elite 130 and the yet to be released Silverstone Raven Mini (Support told me the end of the year). I really want the Raven Mini but not willing to wait that long. Are there any other options that would suit my needs?

I would really like a slim HTPC with a riser card for the GPU but the only one I have seen in the Raven Mini.

Here's a couple of cases I'm eyeing myself that will work for you that can still fit a full GPU in there:

1. NCASE
2. Case Labs S3

I really want the NCASE for it's super small footprint but the S3 has it's appeal as well. For size comparison, the links should give you a fair bit of an idea but the S3 is more or less as big as the prodigy (but with far better design and materials used - ALU all round).

Thanks for the reply, I should have said I am looking for something wider than tall. I need one that is 9.6 inches tall MAX but I would really like one shorter than that.. I don't care how wide it is. Besides the NCASE says all units sold and the CaseLabs one is $200!

Really wish the Silverstone was out! I don't see why no other slim HTPC cases take advantage of riser cards. Servers have been using them forever.

Edit: Yeah, $200 (NCASE or CaseLabs) is not in my budget. Don't see the point in paying that much when the Elite 130 is so nice for only $45.

for under 9.6 inches in height, the Node 304 is an option. When the height and cost are restricted the pool of choices comes down quickly tongue.gif

Edit: does that indiegogo page with the NCASE's on it say they're sold out for you? It says there's still 12 available for me =/

Yeah 12 for me as well. If the Raven Mini is $200 I will get it but as for those other cases I don't really see what they bring to the table that makes them $200 when the CM Elite 130 is SOOOO much cheaper.

The Node 304 is just under 9in tall. And still on sale at Newegg!

Actually the link I gave does show that you can order the NCASE and it's definitely still available. Unfortunately it's out of his budget and he doesn't want an all ALU (expensive) case.

Good luck to the OP with his hunt for a case! thumb.gif

Node 304 is a great case and I've done a build in it. If you don't need an optical drive (this one has no external drive slots), it could fit your needs. It's also easy to build in unlike some other small cases.
