overclock potential

Thread Starter
replacing a 3500+ OCed to 2.6 with an opty 165.
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
2 gigs ram - (4x512) - 2xCorsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT 1GB DDR400 XMS3200
Ultra ULT31851 X2 X-Connect 550W Power Supply
Zalman CNPS7700-CU CPU Cooler

will the 3200 ram be adequad to reach a 2.8-3Ghz OC if i recieve a good stepping 165?

the 3500+ maxed at 49celsius during 8 hours of P95 so I anticipate cooler to be adequate

any advice or recommended settings to start with for a 3Ghz goal?

Your only option is to send them an email, see what they have, and see if you can order a certain stepping.
