o, sorry

yea, the alienware have like 6 fans and run really cool. and for $70 you can get an extra fan with an inch spacing for extra cooling on ur lap. i would get the one with only 1 gpu, and prolly get a x2 4800 AMD or maybe a c2d one...

you can get a lappy that is twice as fast as my comp and it will have good cooling, but at a significantly higher price.

the price is only downfall

I dont think its worth getting a high end notebook to game on. First of is the battery life span. A good high end notebook will last about 2-2 1/2 hours and the heat issue is retarded. If your gonna game, dont put it on your lap unless you dont wanna have kids in the near future

A high end gaming LUGGABLE will cost $2000+. It will weigh about 15lbs and will not be upgradable. However, it will play games fine as long as you are plugged into an outlet. Sort of defeats the point.
Once again...

sladesurfer you are completly right. I mean, why pay $1000 more than a desktop to have lower performance than a desktop?

Yeah but this guy just said that he'll get a 70% discount from his work :O. So this doesn't apply to him.

The heat issue shouldn't be too major unless you're going to be gaming on your lap or some other uneven surface. You should really game only on a desk or something so that there's some room for air to flow in between the desk and bottom of the laptop.
