Can you turn off the leds on the back of the card? the reactor and power.

And is it possible to mess about with the lightning leds, i know you can to some extent with the Nvidia tool but would it be possible to have yellow for example?

I myself cannot sleep tonight after knowing 780 lightning price dropped so much. It hurts evev more since i use 2 x 780 lightning. I have 1 at 75 asic and the other 80. They overclock like a champ. Could evev hit 1420 on air for quick benching but stopped cos the temp was so high. I went and read classified club. Seems like alot of people having a hard time to reach pass 13xx. Somehow i still have hope for lightning when block is available. What i did was writting to my reseller and asking to send them back. Once they agreed ill just ask if they could replace the new price for me instead. That would save time. For the amd cards actually i dont like em much since their drivers suck. Anf nvidia cards are worth keeping for future g sync. I would still vote for lightning if they agree to what ive told. And worst case they arent. Ill just send both back and get a pair of classified and pray for some luck. I dont really care about samsung memory or not since i do gaming mostly and gaming gain from clock much more. Samsung memory is for bencher. So if you can work around to keep lightning. I vote for it. Cos i believe a strong pcb and gpu reactor which reduce coil whine will rock

I have 2 with elpida mem. But it doesnt matter much if u arent hardcore benching. Im much more into gaming and running sli at 1.212v at 1280mhz and 200 mem. With voltage added i ran both at 1420mhz. Stopped there cos of temp. Still waiting for waterblock for higher result. My 2 cards have 75 and 80% asicLightning is running with elpida mem but i dont care bout that since its for benchers.I have 2 lightning running in sli at 1280mhz and 200 mem at 1.21volt. With voltage added i could reach 1420mhz with both. Stopped there cos of temp and still waiting for waterblock for higher clock.

You're ok to go with your current power supply.

But if you decide to bench with 1.35v+ on your 780s, you'll probably get shut downs.

But everyday conservative clocks on your cpu and gpus will be fine.

Can anyone tell me their FPS Online in BF4, I wanna see how much an upgrade is a 780 Lightning gonna be compared to my 3GB 580 Lightning XE. I am getting from lowest 38-40fps, but usually hovers around 50-65fps sometimes max sometimes around 75fps. This is with 1080p Ultra PostAA High and HBAO no MSAA.

I tried bf4 when it was in beta with 2x lightning running 2560x1440 @1280mhz and fps was around 90-110. It was very smooth and everything is max on at ultra preset. You could get much more at 1080 res

I am going to hold off and see if they release an Acrylic version like they did for the Classy.
