[Official] MSI GTX 780 Lightning Owner's Club - Page 19

Got mine with a 65% ASIC ... VDDC shows 1.162 all the time .. with Skynet Bios flashed just the same.

No VDDC Control with AB / Inspector .. i am going to return this unfinished product ... this is the worst Lightning ever.

"More precise Voltage Control" ... means no voltage control at all
"Power/Voltage Control via AB" ... means limited power control and still no voltage control at all.

well done msi. rolleyes.gif

So I'm beginning to think that I simply wont receive my card anytime soon. I ordered on release day and still don't have a tracking number from newegg even though I have 2nd day air as my delivery option. Honestly if it's not here by friday people will be hurting. mad.gif

After they released GTX 680 Lightning, it took more than a month to utilize triple over-voltage function because they did not update afterburner.
Sorry for those who are expecting to get 300% power limit.

Hey, I was having similar issues. On my stock LN2 bios, 1.162v was stock and +37 mv would bring me to 1.187v. Flashing to a custom bios would lock me into 1.125v and no matter how much voltage I added the VDDC would not increase.

I'd hang tight though. MSI will release a bios.

Call newegg or do newegg chat. They are pretty responsive.

it wont let me add VDDC on stock normal or LN2 Bios nor Skynet Bios. with more recent beta drivers it doesnt show VDDC at all.

reinstalled different drivers, reinstalled AB Beta 14 ... increasing VDDC ... it sticks to 1.162 all the time.
