I have used DDU to take away the old drivers, and installed some completely new ones. still same problem persistes and when i crash in a 3Dmark firstrike the whole computer goes down too.
What could the problem be with the monitors?

Not sure what else to try, the windows reinstall usually works as a last resort. I haven't used win 8 very much & haven't had the issue in that OS before, only win 7, but it really shouldn't matter about the OS.
Don't suppose there is an extra rig around to test the card in, or if you can test it in a friends rig? Should narrow down if it is the gpu or not, although starting to look that way.

I think its the gpu since the other one is working fine. Was wondering if there is any guide on fixing the gpu itself. Since my warranty is void. And btw i still can update my gpu bios through safe mode

Did you say that you had sli Lightnings? What happens if you switch positions of the cards? Does this happen with either bios?

I believe this is going to be all she wrote for my gpu. She's given all she's got. At least I can say that I got to 1453. The coil whine was sounding like a moped too. wheee.gif Hottest temperature ever for my gpu too with the waterblock. devil.gif

Oww I thought it was crashing while not using 3D application, your monitor is fine then, it's your card I think has problem.
Another attempt I think you may try to re install windows again.

Amazing Bishop thumb.gif at last you have achieved your goal which is 1450MHz, right? wink.gif
Just add +rep for you, mate smile.gif

Hmm I wonder if Kinaeshetic has mod VBIOS with GPU boost 2.0 enabled while powerlimit still unlocked to 300% biggrin.gif

I don't know if it is my card or my games but something always goes wrong and everything crashes to desktop.. Maybe I pushed my card too hard while overclocking. But this card is pissing me off.

Yes and when i switch places same issue system freezes with a black screen at welcome screen. And when i install another bios system boots normally until the drivers are automatically installed.
