tks!

but still doesn't work......................

I don't know what nvflash you are using but as I see you use a bat file to automate the process.
You should get the latest nvflash here and do the process manually
Taken from the 680L first post:
Quote:
To flash the BIOS, download the latest version of nvflash.
extract the nvflash files to C:\
save the BIOS file to C:\
open elevated cmd window (hit start button, type "cmd", right click cmd icon, run as administrator)
change directory to C:\ (type " cd C:\ " )
OPTIONAL: type " nvflash --protectoff " then hit enter (turns off any error msg that may result from software write protection)
BACKUP ORIGINAL BIOS: Type " nvflash -b backup.rom " and a copy of your bios will be saved to the nvflash directory
type " nvflash -4 -5 -6 x.rom "
wait for it to finish
reboot
OPTIONAL: reinstall drivers
and replace the x.rom by you *.rom filename.

With SLI you can read here for instruction (card selection)

So it's fixed but i don't know why PCI-E was switched of 3.0 to 2.0 by flashing the card ... (before, pci-e 3.0 worked with "AUTO" on the PCI-E)

That did happend to me aswell lel

Here is a picture of mine at idle.

This is at load.

Okay, so does this mean that i can't run at PCI-e V3.0 when i have an old I5 2500K ?

Yeah. It is only supported on ivy and haswell right now.

Bought my 780L back in November and I have been extremely pleased with it this far! Memory (elpida) cannot be overclocked at all, but the card still runs great. Small note - my " LIGHTNING" symbol does not change colors anymore...any ideas? Initially it would go from green, to blue, to red, but then it started going just from green to red. Now it is stuck only on green and I know it is not the end of the world, but it is bothering me...somewhat.

Skyn3t LN2 Bios
Core - 1.299V
Memory - 1.700V
Core - 1,335 MhZ
Memory - 1,595 MhZ
Max Temp during Firestrike Extreme - 57 (Air)

Thanks to everyone on this forum for the wealth of information you have made available. Truly amazing!

*EDIT* After posting this I bumped the core clock a bit more and it held up fine at 1345 at 1.299V. Earned another 21pts on Firestrike Extreme. I have the temp room to keep pushing, but with the crap memory on my card it is completely pointless to push the core further mad.gif. I really wanted to get a second one and put them both under water, but maybe I should just hold off and see what maxwell brings.

Does anybody know why the Lightning logo would stop changing colors if card is OCed? If I reset the settings in AB to +0mV, 100 Power Limit, +0 Core +0 Memory, the logo will go between green and red.

When I apply my OC settings for gaming ( Skyn3t LN2 Bios, Core - +63mv, Memory - 1.650V, Power Limit + 300%, Core - 1260 Mhz, Memory - 1,582 Mhz) the logo stays green all the time. It is green during Firestrike Extreme as well as BF4 on ULTRA 4x MSAA and 150% supersampling (55-80FPS, smooth as hell and core never goes over 60 degrees or draws more than 1.180V).

I feel like something is not completely right... any help, advice and thoughts would be appreciated.

Mine does the same, this is normal.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it was, but I feel better now that I know I am not the only one who it happens to. On a side note - I love the card, but I only wish it came with some better memory. Core overclocks so well and it is a shame that memory can barely do 6.4Ghz.

Hello guys smile.gif

I have got some stability issues that i would like to talk to you about smile.gif so here comes a wall of text smile.gif

First of all i have a little question, when i push the card with my overclocking, and i have a crash sometimes my card just underclocks to 575MHz and no power consumption at all, like 5-15%. and whatever i do, i can't reset the card at all. Only thing that helps is to restart the computer. but it sucks to do this every time i get into an unstable area. Also this is not only when the card crashes, but also if i just start firestrike, it can in the meantime have underclocked itself.

okay, but here is my real issue:

I have the following setup:

CPU: I5 2500k 4.7GHz
MOBO: MSI Mpower z77 1155 socket.
Graphiccard: MSI gtx 780 Lightning
RAM: 16GB corsair vengeance 1600MHz CL9
Cooling: H80 watercooling for CPU
PSU: Corsair TX 850W

Okay, so my card has 2 bios, the normal stock bios, and the Skyn3t LN2 rev.4 Hynix BIOS. i have set a goal for myself, i want to push this card to 10.000 score in firestrike, and right now i got a max of 9876 points.

But with the LN2 skyn3t bios, i can only achive something around 9500.

This i don't understand.
Because the core clock frequency is like 1200MHz on the LN2 and in the stock normal bios i can only push the card to max of 1135MHz. And i don't even know why my clocks is so low in the first place. The card doesn't get high temps at all. 70 or so max. and is unstable in every thinkable way. whenever i try to take a Firestrike test, the card can sometimes get though with a low clock, and then the test after it crashes or underclocks like 10 sec into the test.

I have got 75.9% ASIC

The stock bios is running on this:
+63mV
109% limit
+140MHz core clock
+180Memory clock.

The second bios: (skyn3t LN2)
+125mV
300% limit
+200MHz (unstable like hell, no artifacts, card doesn't get hot at all, sometimes firestrike just crashes)
+250MHz memory clock

This is what i can give you atm that i thoink you might want to know. im in LN2 here:

and a comparison from my 3Dmark firestrike tests is like this from the two different bios:

http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/1492717/fs/1578431

Please help me sort out my problem, i have overclocked CPU's for a while but started with this Lightning for GPU overclocking.

Please help me find out why i haven't reached 10000 with the LN2 bios when i can reach 9876 with the stock bios, and please help me sort out why the clock isen't stable at all.

Best regards Noddy;)
