Eh just max the ab volt settings! You will run out of power before you reach both temp and chip OC anyways. AB gives only a tiny little extra voltage to your card, even in "extended' mode and with sky's bios. It will only give you about 1.24 on the core. Going past 1300mhz without crashes and artefacts all over the place, with such a low current would just be amazing.
On the other hand adding more voltage than that would make the air cooler insufficient.
Then again.. 1300mhz is suuuper fast! Atleast for gaming and such. If we was to compare this with a.. lets say haswell cpu we're talking like clocking it to 48ghz and beyond sine a cpu is no where near as efficient as a any gpu released 2003 or later.
Elpida doesn't clock more than 1650 for the best chips. Hynix clock from 1650 and beond 1800. @1.7v
I can clock my Hynix to 8002 effective clock, but it doesn't last long before it crashes. Doesn't seem to be possible to get it stable either. I've tried adding a few extra mv with rbby's tool, but that seems to just make it even worse. :/Edited by GOLDDUBBY - 2/18/14 at 2:53am
