With the temps you got, you could easily go 1.5 volt and hit 1600~1800 mhz on the core EEEZ EEE wink.gif

Sorry I misread what you said tongue.gif

I thought you asked what temps.

And no, the card is just a crappy one. 1600-1800 will require dry ice or LN2, even on a good card!

I did a quick OC on the Lightning machine smile.gif Using AB 4.2.0 and rbby258
Code:
AB 4.2.0
47217C
4721B0
4721E4

No time for pushing it, but here's what I got in oc .. didn't do any runs .. I have plenty suicide runs in the past going well beyond these clocks (on h2o)

Na I was just on watercooling with CLU on the gpu die.

If I was on DICE temps would be more like -60c or so

Card sucks though, kept giving it more and more volts but it doesn't scale past ~1350.

Not going to bother testing it on DICE, doesn't seem worth my time. I have a friend with a bunch of 780 Lightnings he got off reddit for cheap, he's going to test them and give me the best of the lot for my 780 Lightning if I cut him a deal on my z77-UP7.

Hopefully your friend can get you a good clocker. I know others on here were able to hit 1.8 GHz or so on dice. Power draw would be massive. Ha-ha.

Yeah when I hit 1800 mhz on my 980 ti on DICE, I think power draw was close to 800w-1000w in FireStrike, K|NGP|N did some testing on a 1.65volt 1800 mhz 980 ti I think, and power draw was spiking up to almost 1650 watts, so I figure 1.563v + 1800 mhz would probably be around 800w-1000w. It was all I could do to keep the pot full with DICE, it was evaporating so fast lol

I hope my friends card ends up being good, I've always loved the 780 Lightning, had one ages ago and loved it.

My 780 lightning has been sitting on the shelf for years. Used maybe 2-3 times. Even had Samsung. Maybe one day it'll get used again.
