It all depends on the BIOS you are using. If you downloaded Sky's 130% power, LN2 BIOS then the stock boost is 1137mhz so an extra 100mhz would become 1237mhz.
If you are using the standard BIOS on the card in NON LN2 with 109% power limit, your boost clock might be 1097mhz like mine and adding an extra 100mhz would become 1197mhz. For this extra push you do need to increase the voltage. My card requires it anyway.
What is your core clock once putting an extra 100mhz in there?
